Author of several groundbreaking articles on workers’ compensation, including ‘Communities of Interest’, a guide to compensability in cases of natural disaster and terrorism and ‘Representing the Carrier’ in Workers’ Compensation Law & Practice in New York, an NYSBA publication.

Anne began her career as an Assistant Corporation Counsel with New York City Law Department’s Workers’ Compensation Division from where she went into private practice, ultimately becoming a Managing Partner at an insurance defense firm. That experience, and the far-reaching changes wrought by the 2007 reform, revealed that the traditional workers’ compensation defense model no longer served employers and carriers. In fact, and as discussed in ‘Representing the Carrier’, that model was obsolete. Anne set about creating a practice that sought to remedy the deficits of this traditional model, bringing her broad analytical and practical skills – and plain intellectual firepower – directly to the service of employers and carriers.
